The following blog entires will discussion the Delaware Basin stratigraphy of the Guadalupe Mountains, and the sedimentary structures and environments of the surrounding area. The primary focus of this blog will be to describe and identify the formational process of the ancient Permian sea by examining the mineralogy using thin sections and structures of locations in New Mexico/Texas.
